Hollywood Actress Natalie Portman's Fiance Honoured In New York
Natalie Portman's ballet star fiance Benjamin Millepied has been honoured for his contributions to French culture at a gala in New York.The Hollywood actress and the choreographer, who met on the set of Black Swan, are currently expecting a baby together.
Portman won an Oscar for her role in the ballet movie, and Millepied gained his own recognition for his work as he was handed the Medal of Honor prize by officials at the Center for French Civilization and Culture of New York University on Thursday night (05May11).
But the evening failed to pass without incident - Millepied, who attended the reception without his pregnant fiancee, reportedly caused consternation at the gala by refusing to answer reporters' questions about his partner. One journalist from the New York Times claimed to have been ejected from the bash after asking him about Portman.
