The Royal Couple.

My favorite "celebrity" couple, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, visited Centrepoint in London for some charity work and the adorable Prince William showed off his dance moves:
ISN'T THE PRINCE JUST SO CUTE! :))

Love it when I see Prince William placing his assuring hand on Kate :)

Celeb Look for Less - Kate Middleton in Erdem.

Duchess Catherine Middleton has won the hearts of many not only through her warm smile and down-to-earth personality, but also through her great sense of style that is both appropriate yet gorgeous. The beautiful wife to Prince William has also earned herself the title of the "recessionista" through her endless recycling of clothing, shoes and accessories.
Now you can also dress like her, without the same damage to your pocket!
On the royal couple's North America tour, Kate Middleton paid tribute to Canadian-born designer Erdem Moralioglu by wearing one of his Erdem label designs when she landed in Canada.
The laced-cut sheath dress was special without being overstated, especially with the modest hemline and sleeves up to her elbows. She looked so elegant but modern as she finished off her look with a nude clutch and matching heels by LK Bennett.
While you and I may not be able to afford this dress that could costs thousands of dollars, we can recreate the look with this highly similar dress from ASOS:
ASOS PETITE Exclusive Slash Neck Lace Dress With Contrast Lining £45
Finish off your look with a pair of nude patent pumps and a nude clutch.
ASOS SCALA Patent Court Shoe£25 (ASOS)
Jessica McClintock Satin Frame Clutch - S$35.20 (Macy's)

Fashion in a Week.

Kate Bosworth leaves Chateau Marmont in boho shirt dress, accessorized with a thin dark brown belt, matching sandal heels and bag in a different shade of brown. I love the simple yet chic look.
Red Riding Hood's Amanda Seyfried looks cute in a polka dot dress on a sunny day out - a print dress is a easy way to dress up on lazy days.
Never afraid of colour, Freida Pinto arrives at the premiere of her latest movie, Rise of Planet of the Apes in a green Juan Carlos dress and Brian Atwood heels. I'd prefer if she had gone for nude lips, though.
Actress Katie Cassidy attended the DKNY sunglasses soiree in NYC in this lovely get-up. Her soft blouse, tweed shorts and gorgeous peach-coloured heels are all by DKNY. I love her shoes!
Rose Byrne stands out in a bright yellow leather skirt by Zimmermann paired with a laced blouse and a pair of Nicholas Kirkwood heels at the W's Symmetry Live Concert.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked every bit pretty in this midi-skirt and cropped top. I love the colour clash between her pastel green skirt and her dark red Chloe 'Paraty' bag, not to mention her cute ankle-strap flats, also by Chloe.
Duchess of Cambridge Catherine re-wore her Diane von Furstenberg green dress from her North America tour at Zara Phillips' (Prince William's cousin) pre-wedding party.
The frugal princess also re-wore her champagne coat and laced dress (worn inside) for the actual wedding of Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall. These pieces were previously seen on Catherine on other occasions. Nonetheless, she looks gorgeous :)
Glee actress Dianna Agron walks into "The Late Show with David Letterman" in this flattering LBD by Stella McCartney,  looking like a vintage beauty with her cropped coif.

William and Catherine's North America Tour Part III

The Duchess' outfits just keep getting better!

Previously, Prince William and Duchess Catherine had taken off to Calgary and upon arrival, the Duchess made her appearance in a sweet yellow Jenny Packham dress. The cute frock featured collars, a row of buttons down the front and puffed sleeves. I love this dress on Kate, it really sets off her slightly tan complexion and it's in a beautiful colour. Who said you have to be boring when you have to be dressed prim and proper?
[On a sidenote, do visit the website What Kate Wore for the heart-breaking background behind the little girl who presented the royal couple with flowers and a sweet card she made personally for Kate upon arrival. She is currently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.]
Almost immediately upon arrival, the royal couple changed into their casual gear for the Calgary Stampede parade and they certainly looked the part! The white cowboy hats were given to them by the mayor of Calgary, symbolising the 'key' to the city. Complete with a western-style shirt, a heavy buckle belt and a pair of boots, Catherine really fitted well into the festivities!
The couple definitely had a great time and Prince William's signature pose totally completes the cowboy look!
After a brief stay in Calgary, the couple was ready to take off, again. This time, to the City of Angels! Catherine boarded the awaiting flight wearing a red ensemble with her L.K. Bennett nude heels and her hair in a half-up do. Not forgetting, the maple leaf brooch on loan to her from Queen Elizabeth. Another look I really like.
Setting foot in Los Angeles, Duchess Catherine wore a pastel lilac dress by Roksanda Ilincic. It features an interesting asymmetric neckline, with a cap-sleeve on one side, and sleeveless on the other. Together with her Prince, the couple made their way to their first event at the Beverly Hilton hotel.
Up next on their busy schedule was the private reception at the British Consul-General's residence in LA. The couple made their appearance, with Catherine wearing a green number by Diane von Furstenberg. At the function, Prince William had a moment to do some catching up with soccer star David Beckham (who is currently still with LA Galaxy). Would yellow heels be too loud for a Duchess' outfit? 'Cause I think it would have contrasted against the green dress perfectly. Nonetheless, I love seeing Duchess Catherine in colour. :)
The next big thing on the list was a charity star-studded polo match to benefit the American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. The couple arrived at the locale in a helicopter, and Catherine turned up in a floral dress by Jenny Packham, her second piece by the designer on her North America tour. It was a great choice for a sporty, outdoor event, something soft but not inappropriate. This time, Catherine went with a pair of open-toes strappy sandals for her nude-coloured footwear.
Prince William's team won the match and as Duchess Catherine gave out the prizes, her husband presented her with a lovely kiss on the cheek. Awww, so sweet! :)) Do check out the Daily Mail UK for more pictures of the exciting match (Prince William playing polo!!) and celebrities, such as Joe Jonas, Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Love Hewitt, who turned up for the event. I would have loved to be there. I've never watched a polo match before!
And just last night, the royal couple were guests-of-honour at the BAFTA Brits to Watch gala. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their grand entrance, with Catherine gracing the red carpet in her flowy gown by Alexander McQueen
She looked absolutely stunning in the lilac dress, that cinched and accentuated her tiny waist. A glittery Jimmy Choo evening clutch and a pair of matching heels from the same designer completed Catherine's glamourous look. She looked like the star of the night! :)

William and Catherine's North America Tour Part II

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continue their tour of North America and carrying on from where we left off, the royal couple had last landed on Prince Edward Island.
Duchess Catherine made an outfit change into a nautical-inspired Alexander McQueen knit dress for the official welcome ceremony on Prince Edward Island. Matched with her suede pumps, I thought she looked really elegant in this outfit, with her hair pulled back into a ponytail. But she looked really thin, looks like she really could've lost weight. Poor girl! But I'm really glad she seems really happy and at least Prince William is guiding her every step of the way, which I find very assuring.
Later in the day, Catherine pulled over her navy blue trench coat, one which she has worn before (see this older post), and kept warm with a bright red shawl. This was while watching Prince William perform a search and rescue training demonstration.
Then the couple dressed down into more casual attires for their dragon boat races. While the Prince went with a blue striped shirt, a pair of dark denims and a pair of Onitsuka Tiger shoes (!), his wife wore a Nike windbreaker and a pair of cropped jeans with comfy boat shoes. It was the first time I'd seen her in a sporty get-up and I love it! She's making me wanna get a pair of boat shoes myself.
I really like this picture 'cause it's just the royal couple having a little moment between them despite having the world watching them. Plus, in spite of the rain, they look like they're really enjoying themselves, on top of holding their own umbrellas and really just being like any of us.
After the dragon boat race, they brought on an "awww" moment when they embraced each other. (BTW, Kate's team won!) THEY LOOK SO SWEET TOGETHER! :)
After their time on Prince Edward Island, the couple hopped onto their plane and made their way to Yellowknife. Upon landing, Duchess Catherine disembarked in a nude colour sheath by Malene Birger, matched of course with her L.K. Bennett nude heels.
I thought it was really cute, how the Prince displays his sporty self making a couple of swings of the hockey stick. Note how the royal couple wore the same facial expression. :)

Afterward, Prince William and Duchess Catherine changed into something more casual for some wilderness activity. I guess for the Prince, casual still encompasses a button-down shirt. Kate still looks pretty thin in this olive long-sleeve shirt and cropped jean ensemble, but the whole look is really cute.
Beware: Sweetness overload! :)
And yesterday, the couple made a visit to the damage site in Alberta which was recently victim to a wildfire back in May. After the brief trip, they were back on a flight en route to Calgary, marking the first time the city was to be visited by the Britsh Royalty. Catherine wore the Smythe blazer, which she was seen in when she first departed the UK for Canada and her black wedge slingbacks.
These two really have my greatest respect. Taking things in their stride while more than half the time they are meeting people and dealing with the media instead of having a normal honeymoon like the rest of us. Go Team William and Kate!
