21 more Grumps and this B**ch ain't one

A while ago I wrote 21 Grumps and this B**ch ain't one

I have decided that this needs to be revisited. I have things that I need to get off my chest and what better platform than my blog.

So here are 21 new things that make me grumpy, confused, upset & angry.

Not my cleaner.

My cleaner, (OK I know, I am lucky to be able to afford one etc..) she doesn't really clean, I think she introduced my mop to my kitchen floor once, but they didn't get on so she has decided not to bother. I keep her on because she irons. Rubbish.
Disney, I am not sure their characters are setting a good example, for example, Alex (Selena Gomez) in Wizards of Waverley Place, basically her naughtiness is the plot, yeah I know, it's my fault for letting them watch it.
My boobs, they are comedy size, bra's cost a fortune and running is not an option. (Maybe I should get rid of the cleaner and save up for a boob reduction...?)
TV scheduling is currently crap. There is an 8pm - 9pm void. This is when we have got the kids to bed and I want to relax, there is nothing on.
My laptop now has three error messages that come up before I can do anything, and it's too big and kinda heavy.
The things my children pick up from party bags/McDonald's/the fair/crackers these things are just tat cluttering up the place. My mother-in-law calls these Disheens (I am unsure of the spelling) but they are exactly that.
Rats, like wasps, a pointless thing. What do they do that is good? I am at a loss.
My living room floor, it looks lovely and all wooden and everything, but we never varnished it so my children constantly have splinters. We are splinter removing experts here.
My children wearing nothing on their feet then crying when they get ANOTHER splinter. It isn't a surprise.
My kitchen floor...too hard to explain the issues there, but it will take vast amounts of money and mess to get it fixed.
My lungs, still slightly clogged so still taking the lift at work, annoying and embarrassing.
Not having enough time to read...hang on, I could do that between 8pm - 9pm. OK delete 3 and 11, that's why it's good to talk...
Water, I have to drink vast amounts of it, when all I really want to do is drink coffee and wine.
Justin Beiber, partly because he goes out with Selena Gomez, partly because he sings that 'baby, baby, baby' song...and it get's stuck in your head. For days.
Why has no one invented self cleaning cars...houses...people?
Why are my daughters quite high pitched, particularly in the mornings at the weekend (there may be a slight correlation here between their high pitchedness and my wine drinking at the weekend)
Why are all my family a long way away.
Same as 17 but please insert babysitters where the word family is.
Why aren't sanitary towels etc on the National Health?
People who misinterpret what you say and change it into something that means the opposite of what you originally meant, usually with a negative spin.
The disproportionate amount of time teachers have as holiday compared to everyone else who works.

And that's it...grump over. I feel much better.

I suppose part of it has to do with the fact that I now know that Amber is a lesbian so my mind wants to know why that guy is pawing her. That really should be a cowgirl climbing all over Amber, shouldn’t it? Heck, even if Amber wasn’t a lesbian that’d still be a better theme.

Of course, lesbian cowgirls pretty much make everything better in my book, so I might be biased.

Fashion Faceoff: Tibi Spring 2011 Dress

Straight out from winning her battle against bronchial pneumonia, country sensation Taylor Swift was all around New York City busying herself with non-stop promotional duties. The singer was seen in a blue Tibi dress from the label's Spring 2011 RTW collection.

The frock was accessorized with a thin gold belt and matched with a pair of grey bowed-pumps.

The dress has also been spotted earlier on Blake Lively, also in the exact colour! The Green Lantern actress however chose to clash her blue laced dress with a pair of leopard print sky-highs.

Who do you think wore the look better? While Blake Lively seemed to have filled the dress out better, I actually prefer Taylor Swift's belted look and up-do. But in terms of footwear, I didn't like what Taylor Swift had on. What's your stand?

William and Catherine's North America Tour Part III

The Duchess' outfits just keep getting better!

Previously, Prince William and Duchess Catherine had taken off to Calgary and upon arrival, the Duchess made her appearance in a sweet yellow Jenny Packham dress. The cute frock featured collars, a row of buttons down the front and puffed sleeves. I love this dress on Kate, it really sets off her slightly tan complexion and it's in a beautiful colour. Who said you have to be boring when you have to be dressed prim and proper?

Almost immediately upon arrival, the royal couple changed into their casual gear for the Calgary Stampede parade and they certainly looked the part! The white cowboy hats were given to them by the mayor of Calgary, symbolising the 'key' to the city. Complete with a western-style shirt, a heavy buckle belt and a pair of boots, Catherine really fitted well into the festivities!

The couple definitely had a great time and Prince William's signature pose totally completes the cowboy look!
After a brief stay in Calgary, the couple was ready to take off, again. This time, to the City of Angels! Catherine boarded the awaiting flight wearing a red ensemble with her L.K. Bennett nude heels and her hair in a half-up do. Not forgetting, the maple leaf brooch on loan to her from Queen Elizabeth. Another look I really like.

Setting foot in Los Angeles, Duchess Catherine wore a pastel lilac dress by Roksanda Ilincic. It features an interesting asymmetric neckline, with a cap-sleeve on one side, and sleeveless on the other. Together with her Prince, the couple made their way to their first event at the Beverly Hilton hotel.

Up next on their busy schedule was the private reception at the British Consul-General's residence in LA. The couple made their appearance, with Catherine wearing a green number by Diane von Furstenberg. At the function, Prince William had a moment to do some catching up with soccer star David Beckham (who is currently still with LA Galaxy). Would yellow heels be too loud for a Duchess' outfit? 'Cause I think it would have contrasted against the green dress perfectly. Nonetheless, I love seeing Duchess Catherine in colour. :)

The next big thing on the list was a charity star-studded polo match to benefit the American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. The couple arrived at the locale in a helicopter, and Catherine turned up in a floral dress by Jenny Packham, her second piece by the designer on her North America tour. It was a great choice for a sporty, outdoor event, something soft but not inappropriate. This time, Catherine went with a pair of open-toes strappy sandals for her nude-coloured footwear.

Prince William's team won the match and as Duchess Catherine gave out the prizes, her husband presented her with a lovely kiss on the cheek. I would have loved to be there. I've never watched a polo match before!

And just last night, the royal couple were guests-of-honour at the BAFTA Brits to Watch gala. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their grand entrance, with Catherine gracing the red carpet in her flowy gown by Alexander McQueen.

She looked absolutely stunning in the lilac dress, that cinched and accentuated her tiny waist. A glittery Jimmy Choo evening clutch and a pair of matching heels from the same designer completed Catherine's glamourous look. She looked like the star of the night! :)

Trend Alert: Coloured Denim - Bold vs Pastel

This trend seems to have been lingering on, although it doesn't appear to be catching on with many celebrities in tinsel town. It's a great way to add colour to a casual outfit, which doesn't take much fuss to put together, considering that coloured denim is best to be worn with neutral colours like white, black and, as seen on Cheryl Cole (below), beige. For a night out or dinner party, put on some bling (see Malin Akerman) and stiletto heels and you're good to go.
