Fashion in a Week.

Happy Chinese New Year to all! Hope that the long weekend had been good!

Rounding up the past week's looks spotted all over in a short post, first, we have some formal ones.

Dianna Agron promoted her latest flick I Am Number Four with on- and off-screen lover Alex Pettyfer in New Jersey wearing a dress by Proenza Schouler, complete with an Alexander McQueen scarf and Lanvin booties. I love Dianna Agron (have I mentioned that before?) and this look looks a lot like a carry-over from hers at the SAG Awards. It's pretty how she added the McQueen scarf for a dash of colour, and I love her in up-dos. Alex Pettyfer ain't looking so bad himself.

The Super Bowl took place this morning (Singapore time) and several events were lined up leading to the actual game itself. At the celebration hosted by Audi, actress Demi Moore showed up with Ashton Kutcher in a YSL ensemble finished off with a Ferragamo clutch. It was like the perfect LBD, with details such as the ruffle sleeves and a key-hole. If only she added some colour to the look, be it with a patterned clutch or a pair of brightly-coloured pumps.

At the Super Bowl itself, in Dallas, Texas, Christina Aguilera displayed her powerful voice singing the nation's national anthem. Despite singing the wrong lyrics for one of the lines, the Burlesque actress still wowed the crowd, wearing a suit by Dolce & Gabbana and Christian Louboutin heels.
Catch her performance by clicking on this link. It was so touching when the crowd cheered for the troops in Afghanistan and when you see some of the players cry.

Glee's Lea Michele also performed for the large crowd singing "American the Beautiful". Lea wore a Paul & Joe coat over a pair of neutral trousers. A very nice, retro look, I'd say.

Emmy Rossum went dual-tone in an Etro piece at the Vegas magazine's bash held at Bellagio in Las Vegas. Displaying her garms under the high-slit dress, the actress shows off her Diego Dolcini strappy heels.

14 year-old Hailee Steinfeld looked stunning in an Alberta Ferreti frock at the Virtuosos Award Tribute. Pairing high-fashion with Aldo suede pumps and clutch from H&M, the young starlet shows how you can rock mixes of high-end pieces with affordable accessories. The look is amazingly sweet and pleasant, Hailee is a potential red-carpet looker as is Elle Fanning.

Moving on to the casuals, Private Practice star Kate Walsh was busy in NYC promoting her new fragrance, Boyfriend. The 43-year old wore a nude-colour trench coat with matching nude pumps, completing the look with a Louis Vuitton leopard-print stole. I'm loving the look 'cause I'm super into neutrals and yes, that's my dream scarf if you had no idea.

Over in Europe, spotted in France was Kate Moss. The newly engaged model looked absolutely chic in a full-black ensemble, pulling over a grey fur coat and matching grey ankle-strap booties with leopard print. The style icon also toted around her self-designed Longchamp handbag while wearing a floppy hat. Simply awesome.

Also in Paris was Hilary Duff. Promoting her first written novel "Elixir" in the city of lights, Hilary looked casual cute pairing her shirt and shoes with a contrasting Balenciaga bag. A very fashionable look that's easy to adopt.
