So while I cover the many shows the beauty had attended in a matter a days, we could also take a look at what Fall 2011 has in store for us taken fresh off the runway. You may just spot a trend or two yourself.
alice+olivia was the first presentation Vanessa Hudgens attended and she did so with BFF Brittany Snow.
I actually preferred Brittany Snow's look over Vanessa's. The bright red pumps added a dash of colour to her ivory peplum dress. Vanessa, on the other hand, looked way too casual. I didn't like how shapeless she looked in that Spring 2011 piece from alice + olivia, with which she wore with black tights and strapless heels. Didn't quite like the hairstyle on her either. The best part was probably her custom-made earring.
As for the presentation by Stacey Bendet, black and silver formed the staple colour for the collection. We also see several shimmery outfits from sequinned dresses to those with a shiny sheen. Fur accents were spotted, and as separates were Stacey Bendet's focus, flared-pants and skirts were a common sight. Tweed coats make a great and classic option for keeping warm.
Then Miss Hudgens attended the Marc Jacobs show and she even snapped a couple of shots with the designer himself. It was once again disaster, for me, 'cause the blazer seemed too big for her. And I didn't like it with the micro-mindress underneath. Maybe if she had belted it up, giving her some shape at the waist it would've looked better. I did, however, like that giant orange clutch. Very delicious.
Leighton Meester was an expected guest at Marc Jacobs since she's such a big fan. The Gossip Girl actress donned a vintage 70's number from the label's Spring 2011 collection.
If you ask me, I'd say Marc Jacobs' collection for Fall 2011 was definitely inspired by the ocean. The backdrop for the runway show as well as the 'scaly' looks on some outfits gave that away. There's also tons of polka-dots and lace, to which Marc Jacobs added colour-blocking elements to update spring's white lace trend. The vintage silhouettes are also brought forward to the latest collection.
Vanessa Hudgens was always spotted shopping at Diesel, so it is no wonder that Vanessa gets an invitation to the Fall runway show for Diesel Black Gold. The 22-year old donned a leather maroon short dress with black booties for the event and was found chatting with Chace Crawford during the show. Pay attention to the runway, girl!
Diesel always brought about an element of rock and edge to its clothing and Diesel's Fall 2011 take on leather and military-inspired coats saw colours of midnight blue and maroon as well as last season's shearling or fur-lined jackets.
Tibi was next up on the busy actress' list of runway shows in New York. Spotted in black skinnies and heels, Vanessa paired them this time with a cream chiffon top and a sequinned outerwear. The look is very Lauren Conrad, and I really like it. Kinda flatters Vanessa more than the other looks above, doesn't it?
Socialite Olivia Palermo was also at Tibi's show, wearing a fur vest over Tibi's spring 2011 floral maxi dress. The City reality TV fashionista, who did a campaign for Tibi's spring collection, finished off her look with her leopard print booties. I'm actually loving the clash of prints, and I'm pretty sure only someone like Olivia can ever pull this off.
Tibi's Fall collection was all about below-the-knee dresses and oversized outerwear. Poofy skirts were seen on several frocks, and so was the plunging v-neckline. Tights are still the best way to keep warm in cocktail dresses, while visible socks are still a hit on the runway.
Then Vanessa trotted over to the Yigal Azrouel show at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. The Beastly leading lady wore a crepe short dress underneath her pin-stripe boyfriend blazer. A Henna tattoo was also seen on her hand. T-strap heels (I dislike) completes Vanessa's look.
Yigal Azrouel's Fall looks were all about menswear and oversized coats (ah, a possible trend emerging?). Minimalistic long-sleeved dress looked ultra chic and splashes of colour brought over from spring allows a smoother transition into fall as the bright pieces are well-mixed with versatile colours of black, white and grey.
Today, Jeremy Scott presented his Fall collection , which I must say does not look one bit like a Fall collection! Vanessa Hudgens took front row seats and was right next to Kanye West. The HSM budding star wore a black knit dress which has crosses pinned all over from the label's Fall 2010 collection. Talking about quirky, check out her ostrich-feet boots!
Carrying on the tops with slogans and skeletons splashed across, Jeremy Scott's Fall 2011 collection was way brighter in colours than the Spring RTW collection was. Sequins, bright stripes and slogans/logos dominated the runway.
At Anna Sui, Vanessa was seated next to Black Eyed Peas' Fergie. The newly single actress wore a printed jumpsuit/two-piece made out of chiffon. She looked really awkward in it and I'm thinking someone taller would have been able to wear this better.
The 50-plus looks collection saw the likes of sequins, fur coats and patterned tights, as well as mid-calf socks with shoes. I'm just loving the vibrant colours and patterns, particularly the shade of blue Anna Sui chose for a few items from this collection. I picked a couple of looks I like and here they are:
Finally, Vanessa was up at the Marchesa show in NYC and the sweetheart was in a Fall 2010 Marchesa number. I wasn't so sure about those casual camel brown heels matched with such a formal frock so I was a little disappointed.
Marchesa's Fall 2011 collection kind of disappointed me especially since I loved so many outfits from its Resort 2011 collection. This time it was just an overload of lace and chiffon, with giant accents and headpieces. I couldn't even find a dress I really like.
